Committee & Trustees of the Marine Guild

Our Committee Members, Trustees and Honorary Officers give their time on a voluntary basis.  This keeps the costs of running the Marine Guild to a minimum and allows all surplus funds to be used for our beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries

The object of The Guild is to provide financial support to necessitous and deserving persons and their families who are connected to the maritime & maritime-related industries as well as supporting youths in marine-related education or similar pursuits.

Corporate Members

Corporate organisations, public bodies and businesses can apply to be Corporate Menbers of the The Guild.

Corporate Membership is renewable annually and includes up to 10 designated employees as Members of the Guild.

Subscribing & Life Members

Subscribing Membership costs £20.00 per year.

Members of the Guild who are aged 55 and over can apply to be Life Members of the Guild for a single payment of £150.00.

Past Chairmen

Our first Annual Banquet was held in 1899 at which time Chas. McArthur, Esq. was our Chairman.  Apart from breaks due to two world wars and the recent Covid-19 pandemic, our annual banquets have been taking place for over 100 years.  Follow the link for details of our past Chairmen.
