BENEFICIARIES AND HOW TO APPLY FOR SUPPORT

The Guild exists to provide financial assistance to Marine Engineers, Naval Architects, their families and people in the wider maritime community who may be suffering hardship as a result of age, infirmity or death of an immediate family member.

We welcome new enquiries and applications at any stage of the year

Our trustees will guide potential beneficiaries and/or their families through the eligibility process and, once approved, can step in swiftly with financial support.

Examples of the support we can provide include:

​

- One-off grants for the purchase of disability equipment, eg stairlifts, wheelchairs etc.

- Twice-yearly grants paid to beneficiaries requiring long-term support, to assist with the everyday cost of living
